We received news about the animal shelter, we were there and couldn't believe what we saw
when we saw the puppies and the mother dog there. We tried our best to take them away and
give them a new life, the mother dog did everything so that the puppies could have a new, better
life. Those actions of the mother dog helped the puppies have a bright future, they found an
adoptive mother and I believe that in the rainbow, that mother dog is smiling happily.

　A month after giving birth, she was chained up. Puppies were staying with her and were crying
because they were cold and hungry. When the rescuers arrived, the mother dog was exhausted.
The puppies cried for their mother to wake up. They were at an illegal animal shelter. They did
everything just for money. They didn't care about her little angels. They were all dirty, skinny and
hungry. "We've got to get them out of this nightmare," the rescuers thought. In the car, she tried
to feed the puppies even though her life was very fragile. 3 hours later, the mother dog was gone.
Everybody on the rescue team was shocked by the news. She held on until she got to the vet.
Until she saw the puppies were safe. She handed over her puppies to the rescuer. In an instant,
they became orphans. Taking care of 6 puppies was a challenge. Then something unexpected
happened next. The rescuer met a mother dog on the street. The owner wouldn't let her get inside
the house. Apparently she seems to be breastfeeding. They rescuer went inside and talked to the
owner. "You can take this mother dog away. And the puppies belong to me. Go away." Incredible
words came out of him. It all happened in just three short days. Hope became the mother of 6
orphan puppies. Her maternal instincts were strong. Everything happened so coincidentally. They
reported the case of mother dog Hope. Because it seemed that she always missed her puppies.
They believed Hope was their own mother. Hope took are of them as if they were her own puppies.
They were warming each other's hearts. They had lost their mother, but they could feel love again.

　And the mother dog Hope felt somewhat comforted. Few days later, they got the results. They
helped Hope get her puppies back. Her previous owner had to give the rescuers her puppies. There
were 5 puppies in total. Hope was reunited with her puppies. Now she was a mother to 11 puppies.
It was difficult for her to feed them regularly, but it didn't make her sad. On the contrary, she always
felt happy. The 11 puppies were her happiness. Why do human beings sometimes get cold? Why
don't they love these innocent puppies? They deserve a happy life. If that irresponsible shelter did
right things to the mother dog, she wouldn't have had to pass away. Let's stop referring what if.
You can't change what had already happened. And the rescuers were satisfied with the present.
Hope and the puppies lived happily together. Life had completely changed for them. No one would
be able to hurt them anymore. They would grow up happily at the rescuer's home. A beautiful future
would be waiting for them. The last photo was the deceaced mother's smiling face, right? I really
hope she'll be smiling at Hope and the 11 puppies in the heaven. Thank you, the rescuers and Hope,
for changing the lives of 11 puppies. I wish them lots and lots of happiness and good luck and health.

　I guess I have once introduced this inspiring video. But this is such an impressive story that you
can see it again. The rescuer was so sincere that she went to talk to Hope's owner. But they also
knew that Hope wanted to live with her own puppies too. And finally they made it. Taking care of
11 puppies is such a difficult job to do, but both the rescuer and Hope were happy to do the job.
I hope the puppies will be adopted by some loving good families and live happily with them.

Today in Chigasaki, the highest temperature was 22℃ and the lowest 14℃, in Kyoto the highest
was 23℃ and the lowest 10℃. It's been rather hot and I had to turn on the air-conditioner. But
if I use the fan cooler, I'll have to get cold during the night. If I wear a pair of pajamas, I'll have no
problems. However the body temperature is not so low when I go to bed, so I'll feel a little too hot
when I wear pajamas. It's difficult to keep myself comfortable while I'm sleeping.

　When I go and visit Kyoto on November 20, the highest temperature will be 15℃ and the lowest
will be 6℃. It'll be a little cold then. I think I'll need to wear a jacket. I haven't made a travel plan
yet for the three days from November 20 to 22. The probability of rain for those three days will
be 20% according to the newest forecast. And on November 21, it will be rainy after sunny, and
the probability of rain will be 60%. Well, it's not favorable news, is it? From today on, I think I'll have
to check the weather forecast every day, hoping that the bad results will change for the better.

It was a burnable garbage day today, so this morning I went out with the yellow vinyl bag. It
was a little cold this morning. It was about 14℃. It will be as cold as this when I arrive at Kyoto
Station on the morning of November 20.

　It's quite difficult to predict the weather on certain days. But look at the results above. Weather
Forecast A is quite different from Weather Forecast B. Weathers can be unpredictable. The best
plan will be visiting many places on the 2nd and the 3rd day of the trip. On the first day, I could
visit the Tofukuji Temple, the Fushimi Inari Shrine, the Kinkakuji Temple, the Genkoan
Temple, and the Koetsuji Temple. Those places I haven't visited for long. How about my plan?





　These are the scenes I'm going to enjoy on the first day. Among them the Genkoan Temple and
the Koetsuji Temple might be more exciting than I expect. The first visit to the Kinkakuji Temple
was when I went on a school trip at the age of 14. I visited the famous golden temple several more
times since then. But it never impressed me so much. How about this time?

A driver told us about the existence of puppies on a remote dirt road with few people, but every
time they heard a noise, the puppies would run out to ask for food. We took the 3 puppies and
their mother to the hospital to treat them, luckily they all recovered and were later adopted by
kind families.

　A driver told the rescuer about those puppies. They all lost their hair and had bloated bellies.
They all ran out when they heard the noise. They thought their owner was taking them home.
Or they simply wanted to ask for food. Unlike stray dogs, they were very approachable. They
enjoyed the food the rescuer gave them. They had never eaten anything so delicious. They were
too young to go through this. Why didn't someone try to help sooner? Luckily that driver told me
about their existence. It wasn't difficult to carry them away. The mother dog was just silently
observing. She knew they wouldn't harm her puppies. She was hiding in the bush. She clearly had
no intention of biting the rescuer. She was simply waiting for her owner to be back for them. She
didn't know it was hopeless to keep waiting. She didn't eat anything but just curled up. She
wanted to get back on that dirt road. As for puppies, on the contrary, they ate very well. They did
tests with all of them. All were positive for demodex (type of scabies). It was not transmitted
through contact, which was usually from mother to child. Perhaps the owner had left the whole
family there after he knew they had that disease. They also had otitis medea, anemia, many
parasites and dehydration. Their health at that time was very worrying. They all had to be bathed
and medicated. However, their spirit was always optimistic. The infection got worse. The doctor
changed the treatment method. The mother dog had the most severe condition. But she still
tried to be with her puppies. And the new method really worked. Their condition clearly improved.
The puppies were very happy to see the rescuer. Meanwhile, the mother dog also got better. Two
weeks later, she was almost recovered. They were now ready to be discharged. Three weeks
later, their lives had changed. They were happy to be taken back to the shelter. They had to
continue to receive treatment at home. They had to continue to be bathed and medicated.
Everything was clearly changing from day to day. Maybe they gradually forgot what had happened.
And the mother dog was not happy at all. It seemed she still missed her owner. She would soon
understand how much they loved her. The first puppy was adopted. The little girl was coming to
her new home that day. At first she was shy to meet her new dad. But then she quickly fell in
love with her new life. A few days after that, the other two dogs were also adopted. They were
adopted by the same woman. The rescuer was happy to see them go to their home together.
They would grow up surrounded by a lot of love. They would never have to get hungry and look
for food walking around the dirt road. And the mother dog was staying with the rescuer. Now she
trusted and loved the rescuer so much.

her owner, I felt sorry for her. I wish her and her puppies lots of happiness and good luck and

At 10:02 this morning, there was an earthquake with an intensity of 3 on the Japanese seven-
stage seismic scale. There haven't been any earthquakes of that intensity these days, so I was
afraid there would be a major one in the near future. And this morning, it suddenly occurred, with
no earthquake warning. It meant that the epicenter was not far and deep. It shook Tokyo and
western Kanagawa. On September 1, 1923, a major earthquake happened in Kanagawa Prefecture.
It was named the Great Kanto Earthquake later. More than 100,000 people were killed at that
time. So I live in an area where another great earthquake might happen at any time. Many scientists
insist that we should be ready for the coming earthquake. But how when we can't predict it?

　"There's a dog whining. Please come and help him," the guy called them with an urgent voice.
He bandaged the dog's front leg while he waited for the rescuers. When he saw them coming, he
just left the sight. The guy was standing there for 2 hours in the midnight. He didn't leave the dog
there alone in the cold. The dog didn't understand why there were so many people around him. It
just rained, making the road dirty and muddy. It was very difficult to get him in the car. He seemed
to be afraid of enclosed spaces. They brought a thick blanket for him. Now he was safe. He also
calmed down and looked around. That moment he probably knew that he was helped. Now he
must have realized that they didn't want to hurt him. They had to call the vet, because he was in
pain and the vet clinic was closed. The rescuer wanted to know what had happened to him. When
they arrived at the clinic, the doctors were already waiting for them. He looked at the rescuer
when the doctors touched him. Pain and insecurities were taking over him. The rescuer was very
grateful for the dedication of the doctors. After first aid was given, he ate deliciously. But his
injuries were very serious. The legs were complicatedly broken. There were 3 fractures on his
left leg and 2 on the right. He vomited three times and had bloody diarrhea. The doctors worked
almost all night to help him. It didn't seem that his legs had been crushed by a car. Then what
caused those fractures? Most likely a stick or a pair of hard boots. An operation went on for hours.
Two sets of braces were fixed on his legs. After the surgery he felt a little better. They hoped that
there wouldn't be any more problems. Days later, the incision was swollen and made him tired.
High-dose antibiotics were used for some days. Luckily everything was well under control. He was
allowed to return home for a while to be cared for. Being in the vet for a long time made him bored.
He would meet new friends when he comes home. They were both very excited for the trip home.
He was shy when he approached new friends. The new friend was curious about the leg brace.
At first he thought his new friend was not interested in playing with him, but actually he wa curious.
Then the rescuer took him to the vet clinic with all his friends to see if the leg braces could be
removed. The braces were removed quickly and painlessly. He's now ready for his new happy life.

　The guy who called the rescuers in the first scene left the sight when they arrived there. Maybe
he was the most suspicious to comit the crime. But no one knows who broke the dogs legs.
Anyway I have to thank the rescuers and the doctors to do their best to help Antonio. I really wish
him and his new family members lots and lots of happiness and good luck and health. Please God

This morning I had an appointment for the hospital. Psychiatry and diabetic tract medicine. As
for mental health, my condition is quite stable. I don't have to worry about it, but as far as my
diabetes is concerned, I'll have to take good care of it always. In order for the diabetes to get
improved, you need to try two methods. One is diet therapy, and the other is exercise therapy.
When I look back on my usual life, I should take less calory and do more exercises. I know that,
but it's not so easy as you expect. It's good for your health to eat nabemono (hot pot cooking)
often, but it costs you a lot of money. Vegetables these days are so expensive.

　A neighbor told about a poor dog. She used to be a beautiful puppy. But what she saw was
beyond her imagination. A malnourished dog was lying there in despair. It seemed that she
couldn't even stand up. The evil guys used a steel wire above the basket so that she couldn't run
away. The girl was scared and just lay still. She didn't know what they were going to do with her.
There were sores all over her body. They gave her a bath when they got to the vet clinic. When
the rescuer touched her, she cowered in fear. She blamed the owner for what he had done to her.
Angela had an infection in her uterus. And her liver was very poor. Have you noticed her eyes?
She cried when she was covered with a blanket. All the sadness flowed out with her tears. They
also couldn't hold back their tears. She was skinny and completely exhausted. For the first time
in her life, she had a shirt. She then stopped crying and looked at the people around her. Her eyes
were filled with hope. And it was her first full meal to eat. She would have to undergo an operation.
But before that she needed to stabilize her health. Doctors disinfected and applied medicine. She
cried because of the pain. It took her 2 days until she could sit up normally. She even needed to
learn to walk. 5 days later she was finally able to stand up. She looked like a walking skeleton. It
was difficult for her to walk, because she had almost no muscles in her legs. She tried hard and
didn't want to give up. The uterine surgery was postponed. Doctors found a total of 10 tumors.
The sample would be sent for testing. Everybody prayed that it would be a benign tumor. Why did
all this happen to her? She was a dog who longed to be loved. But the miracle did not happen. The
tumors were malignant and spreading. It meant that she didn't have much time left. They were very
sad but would never give up. They wanted to do everything to prolong the time. The surgery was
performed succcessfully. She was so brave and would overcome difficulties. She would soon enter
chemotherapy. Still her eyes were filled with hope. There were still many challenges waiting for her.
The rescuer would firmly believe that she would overcome everything. They went to the vet clinic
chemotherapy sessions. And it worked very well on her. They cherished every moment together.
She was getting stronger every day. In her eyes now there was only happiness.

　I sincerely wish Angela and her rescuer tons of happiness and good luck. I hope she'll be able to
live long with the rescuer and someday I'd like the rescuer to say to us, "Finally the miracle
happened." Please God bless Angela and the rescuer. She deserves an extremely happy life. They
often say that good spirits pass away quickly. However if she can't overcome her diseases, we
don't understand the meaning of "happiness." May she have a lot of happiness and a long life.

The puppy's eyes will make me unforgettable when he wanted me to help his younger brother.
And that wonderful puppy's name is Clark and his sister's name is Cleo. But difficulties came
to them when they were exhausted and hungry on the street, love and a home were their
dreams. We made their dream come true and now they are both living happily.

　The rescuer would never forget the puppy's eyes. They were abandoned on a rainy day. That
puppy could not walk normally. Its hind legs were deformed. They crawled along the road. The
strange thing was that they stopped in front of a house with a closed gate. They just hung around
in front of the gate. Inside the gate, there was a dog sitting. He observed the puppies for a long
time. It seemed that the two puppies really wanted to go inside. They were longing for a home
like that dog inside. It was heartbreaking to see them like that. The rescuer took them to the vet
right after that. At first they were very scared. Their eyes were so innocent and they were so
young. After driving for two hours, they arrived at the vet clinic. It was a modern vet. They were
less than 2 months old. Clark was the white puppy and the other was Cleo. Clark took care of
his younger sister. He always tried to find ways to protect her. Although his condition was worse
then, he was truly a wonderful older brother. Clark took a test and the results were beyond my
expectations. Clark was suffering from broken legs and spine. He was not as deformed as the
rescuer thought. Who had done all this to this innocent puppy? His chances of recovery were
almost zero. The boy fell asleep during the infusion. It seemed that the boy was exhausted after
long days. Cleo was not much better than her brother. There was a large burn on her nose. She
had exhaustion and lots of ticks. They wondered what had happened to them. Who caused the
burn on her nose? She was placed in a separate room. She also quickly fell asleep. Clark had
another CT scan and X-ray. Did they have any slim chance? They decided to operate on him.
Until then, he needed to prepare himself. His younger sister was his motivation. They had happy
times there together. They had good food and a warm bed. And finally the surgery took place.
In a moment the boy would be awake. Have you noticed the boy's back? He needed antibiotics
and painkillers. The rescuer knew that he was in a lot of pain. And Cleo had completely recovered.
She had a lot of energy and was always happy. During that time, good news came to her. She was
adopted by a wonderful family. That day she went to her new home. A better life was waiting for
her ahead. Clark would also be happy for his little sister. Now it was time for Clark to leave the
vet. They went home to continue treatment. We hoped a miracle would come to him. They always
practiced with him. In addition, he also received acupuncture. He also received love every day.
Miracles did not come to them. The first few days they were very sad. One door closes, another
door opens. He would soon have a wheelchair. And we would be together forever.

　I really wished him a great luck, but he could not learn to walk normally. However he was ready
for a wheelchair and would be able to live together with the rescuer. He would be loved so much.
I hope they will forget all about the sad days they had with somebody cruel and that they will have

Today's the burnable garbage day and I went out holding a yellow vinyl bag. From April this year
we had to pay for throwing garbage away. We had to buy yellow vinyl bags of different sizes. I
thought it would be warmer than yesterday, but once I went out of the door of my apartment, I was
surprised at the severely cold wind blowing from the north. In my place it was about 10℃ when I
went out at 8:30. When I looked at my smart phone, there was an alart for the rain clouds were
coming near. It's quite strange because it's sunny at present. Will it start raining suddenly?

《Mom lost her leg when found food for her puppies at the factory!

A factory worker told us how she'd lost her leg! Running away from someone she entered the
factory where a cutting machine caught her and tore her leg off! She survived without veterinary
help for several months in incredible pain on the street! And after that day... that became an
extremely traumatized Doggie! A Doggie who we couldn't touch due to her trauma from the street!
We couldn't pet her! She reacted to our every attempt by trying to bite us! She didn't have a
chance of a home in that mental state! We rescued her from the street with her 3 puppies!...
And here she is today! Thanks to wonderful people who worked with her!... Today that Doggie
walks on a leash! She walks by herself without her leash and doesn't want to escape! You can
touch her! You can pet her! Without her trying to bite you! And now she's got a chance of a home!
SHE'S READY!... It's up to us now to give her that chance! And we will give her a new life!

　They got a call for help. A mother of three babies were in serious trouble. They were in the circle
of a Sarajevo brick factory. She first fell on the brick production line and the machine tore her leg
off about a month before. The mother was scared of human beings and there was no chance of
survival there. The rescuer couldn't just walk away. It was obvious that the family couldn't survive
in those conditions. After an hour and hard struggles, they found themselves safe in the rescuer's
car. The mother was so scared that she didn't want any touch or to communicate with people.
The three puppies made the rescuer especially happy, the moment and that sound when they
were breastfeeded from Mother's boobs. They hoped that time with love and patience would help
the mother heal. The three puppies loved their mother so much, and the mother was very attentive
to them. On Day 2, the mother was still extremely traumatized. The rescuer tried to touch her with
blanket and she didn't react. But when the rescuer tried to caress her with her hand, she was afraid
of human touch and tried to bite. The babies were cleared of parasites for the second time. On Day
3, she was very careful and calm and the rescuer was able to gently caress her. It was a big step
forward. On Day 9, the rescuer tried to pet the mother, but that time her three puppies didn't let
her touch the mother. Maybe they wanted to protect their mother.

　They were the Mom without a leg and the Mother's guardian angels. "Don't touch our Mom!"
The three puppies were Elma, Dita, and Emina. On Day 13, the mother was still afraid of human
beings. They didn't know what had happened to her in the past. She still needed more time, patience
and love. They ate a lot of good food, which made them healthier. One day the three puppies would
grow up to be big, beautiful and happy dogs in their new happy families. On Day 33, the three puppies
were in danger for their lives. They were seriously sick and fought for their lives for days. Emina
couldn't make it. On Day 35, Elma and Dita were getting better. That day a lady sent them a lot of
toys. Emina would have been watching over them from the heaven, smiling.

　6 months later, the mother dog had been named Adina. They were very happy that the two of her
puppies were healthy and got adopted to happy families. They still couldn't touch Adina due to her
trauma from the street. They couldn't pet her. She reacted to their every attempt by trying to bite
them. Today Adina walked on leash. She walked by herself without her leash and didn't want to
escape. You could touch her. You could pet her. Without her trying to bite you. And now she'd got
a chance of a home. She was ready. I sincerely wish her lots and lots of happiness and good luck.
I really hope she'll have a big happiness with her new loving family. Please God bless her. I'm very
sorry that one of her three kittens passed away, but she will be watching over her mother and two
siblings having a happy life from the heaven. Now her two puppies were adopted by good families
and she has lost everything. I hope God will take away her pain in the past and give her a new
happy life with good people.

　They received a disturbing call by a garbage truck driver about a small puppy. She was in the
exact area where the driver had seen her the night before. She was very scared. She didn't want
to come out of the tires piled up there because she felt comfortable there. They tried to give her
a proper meal in order to make her feel comfortable. She had a great appetite, which was a good
sign. Slowly but surely she started to trust them. She was very stinky, but it was quite natural.
She was wagging her tail while she was taken to the car. It seemed that she felt unsafe in the
car, so they stopped a few times to comfort her and wipe her tears. They bought something to
eat at a hamburger shop, then she started to wave a "Thank you" tail. After that it was "pee"
time. It was time to see the best vet in town. She became curious and playful. Time to go home.

　The stinky princess desperately needed a bath. At home she had a new friend named Arra.
He/She has been very friendly to stray dogs the rescuer kept at home. Now she was fresh and
clean. There was something she really wanted. Of course it was a proper dinner. Best appetite
ever! There are so many abandoned dogs out there. And they really want to make change to
prevent others from ending up abandoned like her. That's why they continue pushing their
government to approve the project for their own dog shelter. In the meantime, she chose to hide
under the shelf. So they moved her bed there. She needs a new family to love and cherish her.
In that way, the first chapter of her new life started there. I hope she'll be able to find a good,

I burst into tears the first time I met a dog named Sweetie, at that time I thought that all
difficulties had come to this dog. But it seemed like some invisible strength helped her overcome
everything and it wasn't until the end that we understood it came from her puppies. She is healthy
again and has given birth to beautiful and adorable puppies. Now they are all living a happy life.

　When she was found, she was in serious condition. She was exhausted and fainted. The rescuer
cried and choked when she saw her like that. She suffered from open fractures and head injuries.
The vet gave her painkillers and fluids. There was a large wound on her head. She had an open
fracture on her leg. Besides, two of her teeth were broken. They didn't know exactly what had
happened. They just knew that she was in pain. The doctors did two surgeries on her. Her legs
and head had been stitched. The next day she was limping. The problem with that leg was very
serious. It was infected for days when they saw her. At least she was there for 2 days. The injured
leg would have to be amputated. For her safety, the surgery took place. They had no other choice
but to do that. As the days passed, their love grew. The doctor said that it hadn't been caused by
an accident. It seemed there was someone behind all that. The rescuer's ears perked up when she
heard that hypothesis. But all that didn't defeat the dog. Her scalp patch was actively healing. She
could stand on three legs. Every day they tried to practice. She was able to walk with a limp. She
really surprised them all. She was able to do that after just a few days. Something unexpected
happened. The doctor suspected that she had been pregnant. They were both excited and worried.
They were worried about the health of her puppies. The vets performed ultrasounds. All puppies
were healthy. It all happened like a miracle to them. She went through it all while she was pregnant.
Puppies were as strong as their mother. They were getting bigger and healthier. They were ready
to welcome their little angels. It was an important day for them. The 5 puppies were born healthy
and safe. They burst with happiness. She truly did an extraordinary job. The puppies warmed her
heart. They all grew up to be beautiful dogs, and a beautiful new life opened up for Sweetie.

　I'm really happy there was an surprising ending for Sweetie's story. When she lost one of her legs,
she just wanted to cry, but she never gave up her life. Maybe at that time, she knew that cute
babies were growing inside her womb. So she had to do her best to give birth to her little puppies.
Congratulations, Sweetie, on your 5 angels. You've saved their lives and they've saved your life.
I sincerely wish you and your five puppies tons of happiness and good luck. I hope you'll have a

When we approached that cardboard box, we saw a puppy inside and what that puppy had gone
through was beyond everyone's imagination. Her trust was fragile back then and thanks to
everyone's love for her, she recovered and trusted everyone again. Now she has a new, beautiful
and happy life.

　This puppy was crying on the side of the road. The rescuer was shocked to see her bloody face.
Her jaw wouldn't open and it hurt. Her jaw was swollen and she was having trouble breathing. The
doctor said that it was caused by a hard shoe toe. And her tongue was swollen and bleeding. She
was also dehydrated and weak. She had to breathe with an oxygen tank. And then she had severe
stomach pain. And the results broke their hearts. In her stomach was just garbage. Because she
was very hungry, the little girl ate them. But what about her injuries? She was just a poor and
innocent puppy. After a few days the swelling decreased. The rescuer hadn't decided to operate
on her yet. Because the garbage inside was not clogged. But she was still in a lot of pain. It made
her unable to even stand up. After 2 days, she was able to sit up. They thought everything would
be fine. After a few days, she stopped eating again. Her stomach was tense with pain. And an
endoscopic surgery took place. The surgery took 2 hours. There were also long and sharp metals.
Finally, the danger was over. She had to stay for days. She was very afraid of men. She couldn't
forget what had happened to her. The nurse was the rescuer fed the little girl. The rescuer hoped
the girl would be happy soon. They gave heart stickers to her. After many days, she finally opened
her heart. And her life was getting happier and happier. She was adopted by a beautiful and kind
woman. She named her Anastacia. She finally had the bed to herself. She also got new friends
who loved her. They helped her a lot in the early days. She was now more confident and happier.
She knew that it was her home. No one would be able to hurt her anymore. She was blessed with
delicious food. And she was sitting there waiting. Her life had turned a new page. Everything was
like a dream for Anastacia. Her beautiful journey had just begun.

　Someone was so cruel to the little girl, which made her stop trusting people. I was very much
surprised to see the X-ray which showed her stomach was filled with a lot of garbage. It must
have been so painful. She wanted someone to help her, but she couldn't trust anyone. I was so
happy to know the rescuer took great care of the girl and thought of the best way to help her.
I sincerely wish Anastacia tons of happiness and good luck. Please God bless her and her new
friends. I hope they will have a happy life with the warm-hearted woman.

The weather forecast has been renewed this morning. I'm going to put two of the versions

They might have some rain on the first day, but maybe it won't rain. It'll be sunny partly cloudy.
I've almost made up my travel plans for the first day. I'm going to the Kinkakuji Temple by bus,
and then walk to the Genkoan Temple, and the Koetsuji Temple. After that I'm getting on the
Subway Karasuma Line to the terminal Kokusai Kaikan. I'm getting on the bus for the Ohara
Sanzen-in Temple and I'm getting off the bus on the way for the Rurikoin Temple. Then I'm
getting on the bus to get to the Ohara Sanzen-in Temple. However I'll have to think about paying
a visit to the Rurikoin Temple, because it's a little too far from the bus stop.

　Now I'm wondering what temples or shrines I'm visiting at night for illumination. The temple I
want to visit most is the Eikando Temple. Some other good places are the Kitano Tenmangu
Shrine, the Kodaiji Temple, and the Kiyomizudera Temple. But visiting those places at about
7:00 p.m. is not an easy job. Whether I have to go or not, I have to think about it later.

left is the Kodaiji Temple, bottom right the Kiyomizudera Temple. I guess the scene of the
Eikando Temple will be the most fantastic of all. However I have to get off the Subway Tozai
Line at Keage Station and walk maybe for about 30-40 minutes. What do you think?

The owner of the two dogs contacted us and offered to take the male dog, when we arrived we
saw another dog there, her name was Rosi. We negotiated to be able to take both dogs away,
and what was behind them truly brought tears to everyone's eyes. We spent a lot of time, love
and dedication to be able to make them happy and we did. They will be able to be together
forever from now on.

　The poor Husky dog was unable to walk. "Can I send this dog to you?" the owner asked. They
decided to visit the place to see what had happened. They were surprised to see another dog.
Another Husky was pregnant, and she was chained. They paid a sum to take them both away.
Both of them lived in terrible conditions. And their condition was extremely serious. He suffered
from anemia and kidney damage. The tail was infected and had maggots. The owner really
neglected the male dog. Look, all over his body were ticks. When shaving, maggots fell out. There
were thousands of maggots in the tail. The doctor cleaned and applied medicine. Infections had
decreased significantly. But he refused to take the medicine. So they had to mix the medicine
with food. Doctors believed ehrlichia had caused it. It made him powerless and immobile. They
left him next to his partner, Rosi. Ehrlichiosis causes leukopenia in dogs. If not treated early,
it can be very dangerous. If the owner noticed and treated him earlier, then his situation would
have been completely different. The owner seemed to have no concern for them. And sad news
came to Rosi. She lost her puppies. What happened to this couple was so sad. Rosi was suffering
from physical weakness. It lasted and had affected the puppies. And Diamante, the male dog, was
trying. His recovery would be a motivation for Rosi. He was trying to walk slowly step by step.
Although he fell down and was tired, he didn't give up. It was heartbreaking to see it all. They were
in difficult times. And those efforts had paid off. He was so happy to see Rosi again. He kissed her
many times that day. And they were both adopted by a young girl. Everybody was glad to know
that they would be together forever. Their sadness gradually disappeared. Diamante loved Rosi
very much. You could feel it in his eyes. It's great to find your other half in life. They're now
having a good life with the young girl. In a house with lawn and a swimming pool. The most
important thing is that they're together.

　Why did the previous owner start to keep the two Siberian Huskies? Soon he wasn't interested
in taking care of them. The became less and less healthy. If Rosi had been taken to the vet clinic
earlier, her puppies might have grown up safely. If Diamante had been taken to the vet earlier, his
disease wouldn't have become so serious. The owner should have asked the rescue group to take
them away as soon as possible when he knew he had no love for them.
　I'm very sorry for Rosi that she had to lose her babies. She should have felt so sad, and she
wouldn't be happy again without her partner Diamante. I really hope they'll be happy partners in
their new family. I sincerely wish them lots and lots of happiness and good luck. Please God bless
them all. Please let them forget all about their sad past.

《Skinny Dog Exhausted From Hunger, Lying Still, Trying to Eat Pebbles, Rocks Hoping to Survive》

I was really shocked when I saw her. The dog was so skinny that only bones and skin remained.
She lay there, her eyes looking up at me for help. The tail is still wagging.... Please help her.
She's dying...She's very hungry... She was exhausted from hunger and illness. She couldn't stand
up. Immediately, this poor dog was taken to the Vet... We dried our tears and were determined
to save this baby. We won't let her cry again. Hundreds of mites in her ears were removed.. She
will receive a blood transfusion because she is very anemic. I call her Angel. Really, she is very
beautiful and noble. She hugged me....

help her live comfortably in the shared house. She had a home and she would forget her painful
past. A good future was waiting for Angel. Thank you everyone for always supporting us.

　I wanted to see her eat a lot of food. It was quite different from pebbles or rocks and tasted
delicious. I think she thanked the rescuer and the vets very much for helping her. I sincerely

This morning the sewage line company came to our apartment building to check the sewage
system of each apartment house. It was done within about half an hour and nothing was found
wrong with the sewage line in my house. Next week the water storage tank on the roof will be
cleaned. I'll be staying in Kyoto on that day, though.

　There was news in Korea the other day that a larva of about 1 cm was found in the tap water.
Serving pure clean water is a very big problem today, because little babies and mothers drink it
directly from the mouths. According to the authorized department, those larvae do no harm to
human bodies. But it could do harm psychologically. Actually I have never drunk tap water for
more than ten years. I usually buy green tea bottles or mineral water bottles at drugstores. But
we shouldn't forget that bottled drinks including mineral water is not necessarily safe.

This is a mother dog named Miyuu. Her daughter was named Wakaba. They were caught in a
trapping cage set by Hamanaka Town. They were given food by a warm-hearted woman. At that
time she couldn't touch the mother and the daughter because they were afraid of human beings.
　Miyuu is a very gentle mother who takes good care of her daughter Wakaba. Of course Wakaba
loved her mother so much that they often played together. They were supposed to be adopted by
a man living in Muroran. On October 27, he drove to Hamanaka Town all the way from Muroran.
Of course he came to pick Miyuu and Wakaba up and take them back to a new house in Muroran.
However one of the Fukuzawa family suddenly asked the new owner not to take the two dogs
away. The two dogs stayed with the Fukuzawa family too long. So it was quite difficult for the
family members to give them to someone else. People might say that it was too sudden for the
new owner to say, "It's OK. I'll leave them here with you."

　After all, Miyuu and Wakaba are still staying with the Fukuzawa family. To tell the truth, I was
really happy that they didn't have to go to Muroran On October 27. Ms. Fukuzawa would never
cry for Miyuu and Wakaba leaving for Muroran. But I know she's the one who misses the two
dogs most. If Miyuu and Wakaba said goodbye to Ms. Fukuzawa, she would be very shocked to
be unwilling to do anything for a while. Ms. Fukuzawa used to be the leader of "Dog Rescue Zion."
Isn't it possible to take a few stray dogs away from Hamanaka Town to Muroran City?

On the first day of my Kyoto travel, it drizzled just before I arrived at Kyoto Station. But it was
not raining there in Kyoto. But late in the afternoon, when my bus reached the terminal Ohara, it
was raining a little. I thought of buying an umbrella at a shop at the foot, but I decided not to. I
was right not to get another burden. On the second and the last days, the weather was so fine,
and especially on the last day it was very warm, or I could say it was a little too hot for a fall day.

　Throughout the three days I walked such a long way. My hip joints started to pain. But luckily I
didn't miss my footing, when I go up and down the stairs. On the first day I cut the Rurikoin Temple,
and on the second day I couldn't ride the trolley train to go to Kameoka because it was crowded.
On the last day I skipped the Toji Temple because my legs were too much tired. Anyway almost
90% of the schedule I had already made was completed, which made me satisfied. I ate a lot of
delicious food. They were so expensive, but made my stomach so happy. I really had a good time.

Pension will be paid to us on the 15th of even-numbered months. We still have 20 more days
until the pension for December is paid. During the last two months, I've needed to make lots of
expenditure, including taxes, health insurance for the aged, travel fee, the house rent, medical
expenses, and so on. Total sum of expenditure for the last two months was bigger than the
pension I received in October. My savings on the bank account is getting less and less every
month. I think I'll have to start working at a juku school next year. I haven't decided what to do yet.
You have to earn enough money to make a living. In order to earn money, you have to keep on
working. Do you think you can't be too old to work? I hope so.

Something seems to be wrong with the air-conditioner. Warm air doesn't come out whatever
temperature I set by remote control. It's going to be much colder from now on. What should I do
with this terrible situation? Is it a good idea to buy a new machine? But it must cost me a lot. I
don't think it's a good idea to spend too much money on a new air-conditioner when I'm not so
rich enough. Usual prices of air-conditioners are between \100,000 and \250,000. It makes me
crazy. Should I buy one online or go to the electronics store directly by myself? Or should I buy
something else such as a ceramic heater? It must be much cheaper than a new air-conditioner.
Of course I won't be able to use it when I want cool air coming out of the machine, though.

homeowner had moved to a new place a few days ago. When we got there we met Cinderella
and her puppies, she was friendly and allowed us to help them. With efforts and love, she took
good care of them to give them a new, better future.

　When the mother dog gave birth, her owners had already moved away. But they didn't bring them
to their new home. They just lined the puppies with cardboard. They don't care how the puppies
will live. And the mother dog was waiting for her owner. She didn't know that she had been
abandoned. She lacks milk when she is always hungry. The rescuer gave her a snack and she ate
it all. Actually she wanted to keep it, even though the food bag was empty. It broke the rescuer's
heart into pieces. While waiting for the car, she got to know her. She was very friendly and easy
to touch. All around them was cold and dirty ground. A total of 4 puppies were found with her.
Their cries caught the neighbor's attention. Otherwise bad things would have happened to them.
The mother dog had no survival skills. And puppies needed mother's milk. The mother dog let the
rescuer touch her puppies. She knew that the rescuer was trying to help them. Hopefully everything
would be fine with them. They had to take them to the vet for the tests. The neighbors were
standing there to watch them leave the place. They were saying goodbye to her family. They told
the rescuer that the mother's name was Cinderella. She responded when the rescuer called her
name. All of them had been tested. The mother dog was weakened by hunger. But she took good
care of her puppies. They fell asleep because they were so tired. And they felt comfortable from
the mattress. They had never had that feeling. They were well fed and slept warm.

　1 month later, do you notice the mother's difference? She gained weight and was strong. All had
been vaccinated and dewormed. The puppies were also bigger. Good breast milk made them healthy.
They were like lovely angels. And that change was evident every day. The puppies had begun to play.
They grew up to be loved by everyone. The house was always filled with laughter. They also didn't
remember what had happened in the past. The rescuer wants to find them good loving families.

　I'm glad that Cinderella's family were found by a warm-hearted woman and rescued by her. How
could it happen that the previous owners had left the mother dog and her puppies behind and had
moved to a new place by themselves. I'm also glad that there was nothing wrong with their health.
I'm sure they will be adopted by good people and new happy lives are waiting for them I sincerely
wish them lots and lots of happiness and good luck. Please God bless them all.

There has been a great progress in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict recently. They both agreed
to stop fighting for 4 days. During the break, Hamas released part of their hostages and Israel also
released some of the Palestinian prisoners. It is said that they could release more people and that
they could possibly stop fighting for more days. Even if they can make it alright, we're not sure that
they completely stop fighting. Many people think that they would start fighting again. Hamas want
to have more time to supply weapons to attack Israel. Israel just have to take a rest and go on
proceeding to regain the land of Gaza Strip. They just had to have time to stop and think. I don't
think they were gentle enough to think much of the lives of restricted people.

　They received an emergency call about a puppy in distress. She lost all her family after a big
storm. They couldn't find anything there. There were a lot of stray dogs. Then something
unexpected happened. It was as if all of the big dogs were leading us somewhere to a certain
abandoned barn. And just as they looked at the corner, they found her! She was alive. She was
very scared and sad. She lost her mom and her other siblings. After the storm hit the village,
they all escaped. But she was left behind. She was still shaking. First of all, they had to feed her.
She had an appetite. Nobody knew when was the last time she ate. She then started to cry. Did
she want cuddles? They weren't sure. As they were cleaning the car, something else happened.
They found out the problem. She was still hungry! She loved the baby milk. They thought they
had done everything for her. Even though they fed her, she started to show strange behavior.
She was very cold. They rushed to the hospital. There was no time to waste. All of a sudden,
she becare more fragile and continued to get colder. They stopped and filled a bottle with hot
water for the road hoping that it would warm her. "Hang in there. We're almost there." And just
as they were getting really worried, she started to feel a bit better. The bottle must have done
its magic. And she wanted to play. But she was still cold. It was time to go to the vet. They were
very gentle with her. They entered the hospital. She started to lose energy again. Mrs. Sashka,
the parrot watched over them. She was worried too. They had to wait for a long time as there
were ongoing surgeries. New cases came in and out. It was so sad to see animals in distress and
pain. She started to get cold again. And they warned the doctors. The medical exams started.
She was scared. Her temperature was so low that it couldn't be measured. They got worried. As
it was a serious case which the doctors diagnosed as hypothermia. After her mom left her, she
was completely alone and was in the cold for such a long time. Her health was now in danger.
They also did blood tests and the situation wasn't good. She had to be put in emergency
intensive care. And unfortunately her chances of survival were not very high. She was also
malnourished. Her life now was in the doctor's hands. All that they could do now was to pray.
It was a bad day for them and the little poor girl. They had to wait for "the call" (from the
doctor) whether she made it or not. A few days passed. They got positive news. She made it!
Mrs. Sashka was happy too! They had to pay a lot of money but her life was much more
important. That was not too much as long as she was alive. "That's what matters!" Now it
was time to go home. A new friend was waiting for her back in the car. While she was at the
hospital, they rescued another puppy. They now needed to keep her warm and nourished.
She regained her appetite. And a from a scared puppy turned into a beautiful baby princess.
Finally it was bedtime. She had been through a lot. From losing her family, through the
hospital, but finally she was in safe hands. She was now looking to get adopted in a new
family. She was about 1-2 months old and is very calm and quiet.

　Welcome back to our peaceful world, little princess. Everyone was quite worried when they
knew that you had to be kept in the hospital for some while. And we were so glad to know
that you were safely back to the rescuer. You've gone through a lot of difficult situations
since the big storm it your village, but I really hope you're going to find a good loving family
to live a happy life with. I sincerely wish you lots of happiness and good luck and good health.

I can't believe it's a winter day today. It's so warm and the highest temperature in my place
is 22℃ and the lowest is 10℃. It's very sunny, but it's windy, though. I feel as if the spring storm
was blowing at the beginning of spring. The warm strong wind from the south is called "Haru
Ichiban"(literally meaning "the first strong wind of spring").

　I visited Kyoto from November 20-22, but at that time the trolley train (called "trokko densha")
was too crowded to use. My leg pained, so I didn't want to keep standing on the train. You
usually get on the train at Torokko Arashiyama Station (or Saga Station) and get off at Kameoka
Station. The scenery from the train should have been so beautiful at this time of the year.



I think I could have reserved a seat before starting for the trip. Or on the first day of my trip. Why
didn't I think of the idea how to get the ticket beforehand?

Last night for dinner I cooked hot-pot food called "nabe" in Japanese. There are many kinds
of hot-pots and what I cooked last night was "chige-nabe," or Korean hot-pot, which tasted so
delicious especially when it was so cold outside. It could keep you warm. This morning I ate
"chige-nabe" again. It was so good and I'm going to put some udon in it for lunch later.

　Also last night I enjoyed the TV drama "JIN" after a long absence. They have many chapters
for the drama and last night I could watch only three of them. It was a drama starring Takao
Osawa as the doctor who went to Edo period by time warp and Haruka Ayase who was impressed
by his medical techniques and spirits. The doctor was named Dr. Minakata Jin and the assistant
woman was called Tachibana Saki. The story that they started all of a sudden was so impressive
and you wouldn't but cry at many scenes.

　The original story was written by Motoka Murakami. The original story was produced as manga.
At first his comic books got very popular and then they were produced into a TV drama. In the
drama, Takao Osawa and Haruka Ayase played so effectively and the drama was shown on TV
repeatedly. I was so crazy about the drama that I watched it many times. I even bought the DVD
for the drama. The theme songs were sung by Ken Hirai and Misia, which still stay in our hearts.




　How did you like their songs? Many people would like to try to sing those songs in karaoke boxes
but it's so difficult to sing as well as them because they're some of the top singers in Japan.

《Locked inside for a month, she collapsed and looked at the locked gate in despair》
The neighbor had not seen her neighbor and his dog go out for a long time. She curiously looked
inside the gate and realized that the neighbor had moved out about a month ago. The special
thing is that the dog is still inside. We went there and took Jade away, she was very tired and
waiting for help and when she saw us she couldn't hide her happiness. We took her away and
luckily she recovered so she could start a better life again.

Is it true that the more developed our society, the more heartless we humans become? As more
and more dogs are being abused, abused and abandoned by humans. Dogs are our friends, they
are always loyal and love us unconditionally. Whether we are rich or poor, we are strong or weak,
they will be with us until the very end. Animal Shelters is a place where animal lovers can meet

　The dog's neighbor asked the rescue group to help her. She said that the homeowner had
moved out. They left her behind and closed the gate. 1 month was the time she'd been here. It
was not too difficult to get inside the house. She was lying on the porch waiting for the rescue
team. She didn't have the strength to stand up. She could only wag her little tail. Luckily the
neighbor found her just in time. It was the woman who gave her water and food. Thanks to that,
she held out until they arrived. She tried to stand up and came close to the rescuer. She was
afraid they'd leave her there again. The past month was like a nightmare for her. Doctors were
shocked by her condition. She didn't have enough strength to eat. It was a miracle that she had
survived. She only weighed 6.7kg. Also the tests were extremely bad. She had parvovirus (a
dangerous disease). And she was also infected with parasites. It was heartbreaking for her
situation. But she didn't give up. She tried her best. And those efforts had paid off. Thanks to
good nutrition, she got better. Look at how she eats, how delicious it is. The seizures then also
decreased. They were all happy with the results.

　After many days, she was finally allowed out. The first thing she did was thank the doctor. She
was out of danger and was recovering. She was able to walk normally. She even looked at the
rescuer gratefully. She was such a beautiful girl. It was her last day in the vet. She finally fully
recovered and was healthy. The rescue team also contacted her owner. "I'm sorry, I forgot" was
all he said. And they would keep her in their care. They went home together to start a new life.
A life where there is only happiness.

　I was really happy to see her fully recovered and say thanks to all the people around her. What
about the previous owner who left her behind? They didn't think of giving enough food and water
to the girl? They didn't care if she couldn't make it all right? I sincerely wish her tons of happiness
and good luck and health. And I hope she'll be able to find a new adoptive family or have a happy
new life with the rescuer. Please God bless her and everyone around her.

King is an old dog abandoned on the street. When we met him, he was very weak and needed

　The dog was going to give up when no one helped him. Flies and maggots covered his body.
He was just barely breathing. The rescuer had to keep the flies away for him. He looked up at
the rescuer with a tired face. And I was startled when I looked at his mouth. The mouth was
full of crawling larvae. He tried to run away when the rescuer touched him. He thought they were
going to hurt him. What really happened to this dog? They carefully took him to the vet afterwards.
They arrived at the vet after 2 hours. Doctors gave him first aid and fluids. There were a lot of
larvae in his mouth. They couldn't be removed in the usual way. Because he would bite when he
was in pain. The doctor had to use anesthesia. It took nearly 2 hours to remove them. He was an
old and very weak dog. The next day he felt better. Tests showed he had a corneal ulcer. Also,
scabies and malnutrition. It would take a long time for him to recover. They especially needed a
special diet for him. He was an old dog but had a strong spirit. No one thought he could make it.
His desire to live was stronger than ever. After a few days they got to know him better. He was
not a street dog like I thought. Behavior showed that he had been raised. It was certain that he
had been abandoned. Street life was not easy for him. On Day 6, the rescuer wanted to be closer
to him. But it was difficult for him to open up. His eyes were always so melancholy. It was as if he
missed his home. On Day 10, his mouth was much better. And he didn't need to eat liquid food.
He always tried to eat as much as possible. Street life had shaped that habit. That was his last
treatment. He was very sad when he couldn't go out. They wondered when he would be happy
again. On Day 30, it was his last check up. He was very worried about that test. If he was OK,
they would be able to go home. He impatiently looked at everyone. After 2 hours, the results were
amazing. He was discharged from the vet. The treatment worked for him. His physical strength
improved a lot. After a long journey, they arrived. In his first days at shelter, he was timid. Everyone
took turns getting to know him. And they built that trust every day. The other dogs were curious
about him. They really wanted to be friends. And he finally made his first friend. And since then
he's been happier. His heart was gradually healed. That place would be his loving home where he
would be loved and well taken care of. He will have a peaceful and happy old age. And his name
is King.

　First I was very much surprised and shocked to know his miserable life on the street. He should
have been too miserable to trust anybody, humans or other dogs. However he was lucky to be
taken to a good hospital and treated there until he got better. I sincerely wish him and his friends
a lot of happiness and good luck. I really hope he'll have a happy life among his good frineds.
